A consortium of Czech investment fund KKCG Group, Italian gaming supplier GTECH and investment group Emma Capital has entered the race to operate Turkey’s national lottery Milli Piyango.

The deadline for submitting pre-qualification applications for the tender expired earlier this afternoon (Tuesday May 27th), having twice been extended since the tender launched in November 2013.

The only other bidder to have publicly stated its participation in the tender so far is Turkey’s Net Holding, which has bid for the licence in partnership with US supplier Scientific Games and Hitay Investment Holdings...
