South African virtual games specialist Kiron Interactive has gone live in the regulated Belgian online gaming market following a deal with NV Chip Amusement, operator of the Belgium123.be brand.
NV Chip Amusement has more than 25 years of experience since the opening of its land-based gaming hall in Antwerp, and recently entered the online gaming space with the launch of Belgium123.be after being awarded a B+ licence by the Belgian Gaming Commission.
The website features virtual horse racing products from Kiron, including live video streaming, as well as a range of online casino games.
Kiron Interactive co-CEO Steven Spartinos said he was delighted to sign a multi-year licensing deal in a “vibrant, emerging” market at such a crucial time.
“Kicking things off during the World Cup with an established operator is great news and we’re confident both Chip Amusement and its customers will enjoy our content,” said Spartinos. “Having complementary products like virtual sports available during a spike in activity will offer both choice and improved performance when they need it most.”
NV Chip Amusement CEO Pieter Coremans said that Kiron’s content was “an extremely advanced and exciting key component of the new gaming site”.
“Players will identify with this action due to the fact horseracing has been a popular choice with players in Chip’s arcade over the past 26 years,” he said. “Indeed, Kiron’s games are a great extension to our land-based offering and will allow Belgian customers to enjoy a similar experience now replicated on Belgium123.be.”
