Sports betting software provider SBTech has agreed a multi-year deal with TGP Europe, a subsidiary of Asian live dealer supplier Sun City Group, to replace OpenBet as the company’s sportsbook platform provider.

The agreement will see SBTech supply TGP’s white label customers including UK operator JenningsBet with a turnkey sports betting solution, with other European and Asian brands like Stenatbet.com, 138.com and Wilsonbet.com also switching to the platform.

The solution includes a live betting product featuring more than 12,000 live events each month, over 200 bet types and coverage of more than 30 sports, a horse racing product, and a mobile betting and gaming platform.

SBTech chief executive Itai Zak commented that he was very excited to have signed up TGP Europe as a partner.

He said the fact that the company was prepared to switch from its current OpenBet-supplied platform to SBTech was “further testament to the quality and performance of our products and the overall value of our service.”

“We're looking forward to taking TGP Europe's group of partners to the next level in online sports betting and gaming entertainment,” Zak added.

“SBTech's experience in the sports betting arena along with the 60 years of experience we have from the operation of the Jennings brand in the UK, coupled with SBTech’s high reputation and cutting edge live betting and mobile platforms made them the obvious choice for us when selecting a partner to expand our sportsbook operation,” TGP Europe managing director Steve Templeman commented.

“We are proud to partner with them and expect the deal to have a positive impact on our business and our clients business,” he said.
