The chief executive of Swedish sportsbook provider Kambi has said that the strength of the company’s live betting solution was largely responsible for the company’s successful World Cup.

The company saw revenue for the second quarter climb 97 per cent to €9.5m, with the tournament contributing 18 per cent of turnover. CEO Kristian Nylén noted that the positive effect had continued into the third quarter, with the final ten games of the tournament played in July.
