Gibraltar-licensed operator is to shut down its online casino site later this month, with the site directing players to says it will shut down the site on August 28th and will match first deposits for customers who switch over to PartyCasino.

The operator explained that it is closing the site in order to achieve operational efficiencies, and to provide a better user experience and product offering to players through its main casino site. was first launched as a skill games site in 2000 by Cashcade as the company’s first online gaming site.

It then signed a partnership with WagerWorks in 2004 to add casino games to the site, having begun in-house development of instant win games in 2002.

The launch of its first bingo website in 2005 was quickly followed by the launch of Foxy Bingo, Cashcade’s most successful brand.

It came under PartyGaming’s control in 2009, when the operator acquired Cashcade for an initial £71.9m.
