Canada’s Amaya Gaming has launched a strategic review of its gaming machine subsidiary Cadillac Jack in the wake of widespread consolidation in the sector.
Amaya chief executive David Baazov said the decision to launch the review was partly a result of the recent wave of consolidation in the gaming machine supplier space, including GTECH’s purchase of IGT and Scientific Games’ acquisition of Bally Technologies, both of which will create significant multi-channel suppliers.
