Virginia fantasy sports bill passes to governor for approval

Virginia looks set to legalise all forms of fantasy sports after a bill submitted to the House of Representatives was passed with strong support, following the passage of a similar bill in the state Senate.

House Bill 775, introduced by Republican Delegate Jackson H. Miller, passed Tuesday with 79 votes in favour and 19 against, with the legislation now headed to Governor Terry McAuliffe for approval.
