Toronto-listed gaming supplier NYX Gaming Group has expanded its relationship with Scientific Games, extending its agreement to distribute its NYX Poker product and signing a new deal to roll out SG Interactive casino content via the NYX Open Games Server (OGS).

The deal allows Scientific Games to distribute a free-to-play variant of the NYX Poker product to clients in the US, while casino content from SG Interactive, including titles from the Bally, Shuffle Master, Barcrest and Williams studios, will bw made available to NYX clients in regulated markets.

Previously NYX only had an agreement to distribute Bally via the OGS platform.

NYX executive vice president of business development David Flynn said that the free-to-play poker product would help position NYX for potential regulatory developments, allowing the company to launch real-money when possible.

“Our partnership with SG Interactive has already delivered several new land-based casino clients in the United States, which we can further leverage as the market develops,” he explained.

Commenting on the expanded casino deal, he added: “Having had agreements in place to distribute the online content from the Bally game studio previously, I am very pleased that SG Interactive sees the value in partnering with NYX to also distribute content from the Barcrest, Shuffle Master and Williams game studios via NYX OGS.”

Scientific Games Interactive’s vice president of commercial Bob Hays said he was excited to expand its relationship with NYX.

“The inclusion of the NYX Poker product for our land-based clients helps them increase loyalty among online players and drive more frequent returns to the casino,” Hays explained. “Distribution of our games via NYX OGS enables us to reach an even broader range of players in regulated online wagering markets around the world with greater speed to market.”

“We look forward to our continued partnership delivering compelling online casino entertainment.”
