US gaming supplier Scientific Games Corporation has launched its remote game server in Spain’s newly regulated iGaming market following an extension of its relationship with Gamesys Group.

Scientific Games becomes the latest supplier to announce its entry into the Spanish market following licence approval by regulator La Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) earlier this week.

Spanish players visiting online casinos operating on the Gamesys platform will now have online access to Scientific Games Interactive’s portfolio, including titles from the Bally, Barcrest, Shuffle Master, and Williams game design studios. This includes popular games Cool Jewels and Giant’s Gold.

“Partnering with Scientific Games Interactive to launch slots in the Spanish market enhances our position as the premier online destination for bingo and slot experiences in the country,” said Gamesys Group’ chief operating officer Lee Fenton. “Our players and partners throughout Europe and in New Jersey already enjoy the unique proven content from the SG Interactive game library online.”

Bob Hays, Scientific Games’s vice president commercial, Interactive said: “Being one of the first content suppliers live in the newly opened Spanish online market is a testament to the adaptability of our growing online wagering business and the global player demand for the one-of-a-kind entertainment from our four branded game development studios.

“We’re thrilled to extend our relationship with Gamesys providing their players access to our library of proprietary slots and table game themes in current and new jurisdictions, such as Spain.”

Swedish supplier NetEnt also confirmed this week that a selection of its games went live in Spain with operators 888, Paf, and Premiere Megaplex, a brand owned by the Mediaset group.

“Following our successful licensing process in Spain and customer integrations we are delighted to launch our award-winning games with 888, Premiere and Paf for the Spanish gaming market,” said Enrico Bradamante, managing director of NetEnt Malta and chief of European market operations. “I am confident that their players will enjoy the unique player experience that our games offer.”

Meanwhile in related news, SG Gaming, a division of Scientific Games, has released a range of new titles across the arcade, bingo and licensed betting office (LBO) sectors.

Among the new titles are Rainbow Riches Pic ‘n’ Mix, a new Barcrest branded B3 slots game produced by SG Gaming’s in house development team. Building on the popular Rainbow Riches branded series, it is the first game that offers players a choice of up to three classic Rainbow Riches bonus including player favourite features Pots of Gold, Free Spins and Fields of Gold.

Other new releases included MONOPOLY Big Event and ROCKY: The Italian Stallion themes.

The MONOPOLY Big Event theme, a £500 B3 title available across arcade, bingo and LBO sectors, combines the popular MONOPOLY brand license with innovative features developed by SG Gaming’s in-house development team. Building on SG Gaming’s cross-channel offering to operators and players, the game has also launched online via SG Interactive.

The ROCKY: The Italian Stallion game launched in the arcade and bingo sector with features including retriggering Freespins and Stepping Wilds. It features graphics from the classic ROCKY films and adds to the series of games originally made popular with players in gaming venues by Barcrest’s original classic ROCKY title.

SG said that the newly released titles leverage the supplier’s cross-platform capabilities, with the MONOPOLY Big Event theme released across all platforms and Rainbow Riches Pick ‘n’ Mix to be made available later in the year through mobile and online through SG Interactive.
