Betfair chief executive Breon Corcoran has said that the operator may look to offer its exchange betting product as a B2B solution, franchising the product out to partners in order to enter new markets.

Speaking following publication of the operator’s full-year results this morning, Corcoran said that the company’s agreement with Crown Resorts in Australia would serve as a “prototype” for full B2B relationships.

In August last year Betfair sold its 50 per cent stake in its Betfair Australia joint venture with Crown for AUD$10m, entering into an agreement to supply its exchange product for a share of revenue generated by the offering.
