London-listed gaming technology supplier GameAccount Network has opened a new North American headquarters in Las Vegas, enabling the company to centralize US operations across the commercial, operational, business development, and customer services teams.

The new headquarters is located just west of the Las Vegas strip in Summerlin and is scalable to support the supplier’s expanding game publishing business and US market dedicated end-user customer services.

The move has been aligned with the personal relocation of CEO Dermot Smurfit and his family from the company’s headquarters in London.

“Opening a long term office facility in the glittering heart of the casino industry matches our company’s long-stated ambition to enable America’s casinos to move online and extend their valued patron relationships into the online environment,” said Smurfit.

“We look forward to hosting our commercial and Tribal partners in the new space to more intimately explore all of the exciting road-mapped innovations that we’ll soon be bringing to life on our Simulated Gaming and Real Money Gaming partner’s sites.”

The space will offer an online-to-offline showroom facility serving as a demonstration venue for casino operators interested in GameAccount’s Simulated Gaming enterprise solutions.

The showroom is also designed to support strengthening relationships with an increasing number of third party gaming content vendors currently integrated with GameAccount, many of whom are also based in Las Vegas.

Shares in GameAccount Network plc (Co. Data) (AIM:GAME) climbed 2.17 per cent to 58.75 pence per share in London Wednesday morning following the announcement.
