Swedish casino games developer NetEnt continues to establish itself in New Jersey’s regulated online gaming market with a new deal to supply Gamesys’ US subsidiary with a selection of its games.

The titles will launch on the Gamesys-powered TropicanaCasino.com and VirginCasino.com sites, which went live through the operator’s partnership with the Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort.

The deal means that NetEnt now supplies all the major online casino operators in New Jersey, having already partnered the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and its iGaming partner bwin.party; Caesars Interactive; Golden Nugget and Resorts Casino Hotel.

Gamesys US general manager Leon Earp described NetEnt as a “world-leading provider of premium online casino content” whose games would complement its existing New Jersey offering.

“We hope to see their content perform as well in New Jersey as we have seen on our existing operations in Europe,” Earp said.

The supplier already works with Gamesys in Europe, agreeing a deal to supply its games to the operator in March this year. While Gamesys has sold its European brands to Intertain Group, the company still operates the US business.

“We are delighted to have partnered with Gamesys US for the distribution of our best-in-class multi-channel online casino games to the New Jersey market,” managing director of NetEnt Americas Björn Krantz said.

“We are pioneers of the digital casino market and I am confident that our efforts to provide players with the ultimate gaming experience will support Gamesys’s strategic agenda to build sustainable long-term growth in the market.”

“We have a firm objective to provide the very best player experience and entertainment value to our players,” Tropicana Entertainment vice president of online and internet marketing Luisa Woods said.

“I am delighted that we will now have the opportunity to offer NetEnt games, bringing premium and innovative online casino content to our player community,” she said.

NetEnt is to apply for a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to launch its games on the TropicanaCasino.com and VirginCasino.com sites as soon as possible, while its full licence application is under review.

Shares in NetEnt AB (Co. Data) (STO:NET-B) were trading down 1.17 per cent at SEK506.00 per share in Stockholm Wednesday following the announcement.
