French gaming regulator L’Autorité de régulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) has joined forces with the country’s Observatoire des Jeux (ODJ), which monitors the health-related, social and economic impact of gambling in the country, to launch a new study on excessive gambling behaviour in France.

The study is designed to create new analysis models to track excessive gambling, allowing the organisations to better understand the behaviours that can lead to difficulties for players, and improve controls to combat such habits.
