Sydney-listed betting and gaming operator Tabcorp has confirmed that the Australian Competition Tribunal has granted authorisation for its proposed merger with rival Tatts Group.
The authorisation is conditional on Tabcorp divesting Odyssey Gaming Services, its Queensland-based electronic gaming machine monitoring business, which the company has already agreed to sell to Australian National Hotels, a subsidiary of hospitality giant Federal Group.
