Olso-listed Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has wasted no time in signing up the first customers of 2016 to its iGamingCloud (iGC) platform, with its eleventh and twelfth clients agreeing to launch gaming sites on the platform.
Neither of the new customers have been named, but one is described as a “tier one” operator and GIG’s largest sign-up to date. It believes the cooperation will significantly increase its operational performance, with total annual contributions from iGC platform clients now in excess of €5m.
“We are happy to sign with an established and reputable partner whom is known as a so-called Tier-1 operator,” GIG chief executive Robin Reed said. “This agreement will further enhance our market position as we are continuing to scale up our operations and capability.
The second client is described as a European operator, which will launch on the iGC in June.
It follows a busy month for GIG in which the company launched its Rizk.com brand, rolled out its online poker product on Guts.com, and launched Mobile6000, its third white label customer.
As a result of the Rizk.com launch, total registered users across GIG’s Guts.com, Betspin.com and Rizk.com iGaming sites were up from 266,230 players as of December 31st to 307,667, with total active real-money players up 27 per cent in the three months from November to January.
A total of 55,898 players gambled on casino games, while another 3,906 bet on sports and 2,937 were active in both categories.
“The launch of Rizk.com has exceeded GIG's expectations and contributes significantly to the high increase of new depositing customers,” GIG said.
Its online poker produt was rolled out on Guts.com last week, and is described as having had a good response so far.
