Sports data solutions provider Sportradar has extended its partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) to offer its clients a range of darts event streams.

The new live stream capabilities across the World Series of Darts (WSOD) and the European Darts Tour (EDT) will complement the existing live data products and services Sportradar already provides to the betting industry.

In 2016, the World Series of Darts will include a total of six tournaments in the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, featuring 82 matches in all.

The European Darts Tour will include ten events taking place throughout Europe with a total number of 470 matches, starting with the first event on February 12th in Venray, Holland.

“Our work to date with Sportradar has been exceptionally fruitful, so when the opportunity came to add live streaming options to the existing data portfolio, we were happy to combine the two and let Sportradar bring them to market,” said PDC CEO Matt Porter. “We are in no doubt that providing this darts content to Sportradar will ensure that our data and now our streams reach the widest possible audience.

“Starting today, our fans worldwide can enjoy these key stops on the respective tours across a whole new range of platforms and outlets.”

Andrew Palmer, sales director at Sportradar, added: “The partnership with the PDC is another huge step forward in our efforts to deliver a great portfolio of events to our clients. This deal will have a great impact and will ensure that our clients can deliver the compelling darts in the fastest and most engaging manner.

“The appetite for darts just keeps growing and we’re very happy that the PDC has decided to continue to work with us, which underlines their trust in our expertise, reach and commitment to the sport. We are convinced that we can successfully shape the future developments in this market with the PDC in order to create exciting products and services which will meet and exceed the needs of the growing darts community.”
