SuprNation, a new online gaming operator created by the founders of Betit Group, has selected Gaming Innovation Group’s iGaming Cloud (iGC) platform to power the launch of its new offering.

The operator becomes the thirteenth client to sign up for the iGC solution, with total annual contributions from all clients rising to €5.3m.

SuprNation was founded by chief executive Joakim Stockman and chief operating officer Henric Andresson, the pair behind Scandiavian-facing operator Betit Group. They founded the new company last year, which currently employs a small team and is yet to launch any products.

Betit’s parent company, industrial investor Optimizer Invest (OPT), holds a 10 per cent stake in GIG’s iGC business after agreeing a €1m investment deal in May 2015.

“We are pleased to see that the growth in iGC agreements continues in 2016,” GIG chief executive Robin Reed commented. “The iGamingCloud platform is an attractive solution for start-up companies within the online gaming industry, and this agreement once again highlight our position.”

SuprNation COO Andersson said that he had looked at all platforms available in the market, but felt that the iGC was the best fit for his company, “both in terms of the platform services but also the mindset and ambition level of the team.

“We look forward to a close partnership in the years to come,” he added.

Shares in Gaming Innovation Group Inc (Co. Data) (OSL:GIG) gained 4.02 per cent to NOK2.33 per share in Oslo Friday following the announcement.
