Gaming supplier Inspired has struck a deal to launch its virtual sports content in the New Jersey iGaming market for Golden Nugget, marking the first time the online games will be made available in North America.

The deal will see Golden Nugget launch virtuals via Spin Games’ HTML5 remote gaming server, the Robust Online Client (ROC), with Inspired having secured a technology provider licence from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

A range of popular virtual sports titles such as Rush Horse Racing, Rush Car Racing and Rush Football will go live across desktop and mobile channels.

It has been facilitated by Inspired’s partnership with Spin Games, which was agreed in April this year.

“This is a hugely exciting moment for Inspired, as we become the first ever supplier to deliver virtual sports online to the US market,” Inspired CCO of digital games Steve Rogers said. “Following our partnership with Spin Games, I’m delighted that we can announce that Golden Nugget will be among the first online operators in the US to supply their customers with Inspired’s world-class virtual sports products.”

“This deal comes as part of Inspired’s ongoing global strategy, and we look forward to announcing further deals and projects in the US in the near future,” Rogers explained. “We have a proven track record of creating new markets as we have demonstrated over the years in the UK, Italy, and China, to name a few, and we are sure that the US will be just as explosive.”

Inspired head of business development for North America Phil Katsaros said that the supplier takes great pride in being “a first-class technology partner” that brings new and inventive products such as virtual sports to market.

“We are completely thrilled to partner with Golden Nugget and look forward to contributing to their fast growing online gaming business.”

Golden Nugget vice president of online gaming Thomas Winter said he was thrilled to partner Inspired and add its “innovative, world class” virtual sports to his company’s content portfolio.

“With close to 300 games available through its web portal and mobile apps, already offers the best and largest selection of games to New Jersey online players,” Winter explained. “Virtual Sports brings fun to the next level and shows our restless commitment to remain the destination of choice for New Jersey online players.”
