Digital sports content and media solutions provider Perform Group has agreed a three-year contract extension with Racing UK to deliver live individual horseracing streams to online bookmakers across all platforms.

The deal continues Perform’s 10-year partnership with Racing UK and sees the technical partnership between the two parties continue until at least the end of 2018. Perform will continue to provide video streaming services for Racing UK and all its bookmaker partners, as well as to the Racing UK video console service.

A subsidiary of Racecourse Media Group (RMG), Racing UK broadcasts horseracing coverage from 34 of the UK’s foremost racecourses and delivered 66.3 million live streams in 2015.

“We are delighted to have extended our contract with Racing UK as we continue to provide a high quality streaming service for its bookmakers," CEO of Perform's content division Ross MacEacharn commented. "In addition, we believe the agreement further enhances our portfolio of horseracing clients and allows us to continue delivering a highly valuable and strategic service."

Perform Group and Racing UK have also collaborated on the launch of Going to Post, the new service that gives punters the opportunity to view paddock pictures before they place a bet. Launched exclusively with bet365 for last month, the service has delivered more than 750,000 unique pre-race streams in its first 30 days.

"We are delighted with the Going to Post product and believe it will be of massive benefit to all parties involved and will become a standard addition to all bookmakers streaming solutions," MacEacharn said.

Racing UK commercial director Nick Mills added: “We have been delighted with the Going to Post innovation which gives online or mobile punters a unique perspective of a horse they otherwise wouldn’t have seen.”
