Amaya's PokerStars has launched its new online sports betting brand BetStars in France's regulated online gaming market. has been beta-launched for French sports bettors on iOS and Android devices, as well as via the operator's desktop client. 

Players can bet on seven popular sports via the site, with plans to grow the range in the coming months. Customers will soon be given the choice of a wide array of betting markets and in-play options. also benefits from offering French customers a seamless experience between sports betting and poker via PokerStars, with a single wallet for all games.

The roll-out follows BetStars' initial launch in selected jurisdictions in December 2015, and its Italian launch last month.

Players can bet on the winner of the tournament before 20:59 CET today (June 15th) and receive a free €5 bet every time France scores a goal. BetStars also claims to be offering the best odds on France to win in each of the team's games, with the offers available on matchdays.
