Canada’s Intertain Group said Tuesday that it intends to list its shares on the main market of the London Stock Exchange as part of a comprehensive UK-centred strategy to enhance shareholder value.

The UK strategic initiatives include a proposed London listing of the ordinary shares of a newly-incorporated London-headquartered UK corporation that would become the parent holding company for the group (ListCo).

The company said last month that it was exploring the possibility of listing in London, alongside the appointments of former Gala Coral Group chairman Neil Goulden as chairman and ex-Sportingbet CEO Andrew McIver as chief executive.
