US gaming supplier Scientific Games has won a contract to provide its casino systems solutions to the new del Lago Resort and Casino which is due to open early next year in New York's Finger Lakes region.

Following a competitive evaluation and selection process, Scientific Games was awarded the contract to provide an integrated suite of its systems solutions for the $440m casino, which will feature 2,000 slots and 85 table games, including a 10-table poker room.

Located in Tyre, Seneca County, the casino will open in early 2017. It was one of three new resort casino licences to be awarded in upstate New York at the end of last year.

“We evaluated several other companies before selecting Scientific Games to be our casino systems solutions partner,” said Jeff Babinski, executive vice president and general manager at del Lago.

“A robust, secure, and integrated system was a necessity, but beyond that, we were most excited about Scientific Games' industry leadership in innovative marketing and bonusing solutions that will help us attract, retain, and keep our guests engaged.”

Scientific Games will provide its SDS slot-accounting system as the foundation for the integrated package, which will also include a player-tracking system for bonuses and promotions, and Live Floor View, which analyses slot-floor performance and player activity.

The supplier will also provide other solutions including TableView, iVIEW Display Manager, Elite Bonusing Suite, Power Progressives, Beverage Ordering and Service System, and Servizio.

“We are proud that del Lago's management team has chosen to leverage the marketing, business intelligence, and operational power of Scientific Games' end-to-end integrated casino solutions for their new casino resort,” said Derik Mooberry, chief executive of gaming for Scientific Games.

“We are confident our technologies and professional expertise will help drive player engagement and operational efficiencies to enhance del Lago's business in the beautiful Finger Lakes region.”
