Slovakia's Ministry of Finance has announced plans to overhaul the country's gambling legislation, including the creation of a new national regulator and licensing for online casino operators.
The Ministry said the new legislation is aimed at strengthening consumer protections and has been developed after reviewing the models employed in Denmark, Sweden, Romania and the Czech Republic.
