In another blow to the fledgling fantasy eSports market, the FanDuel-owned AlphaDraft has confirmed that it will shut down its daily and weekly fantasy eSports contests this Friday.

AlphaDraft, which was acquired by daily fantasy sports operator FanDuel in September of last year, said that it had made the “difficult decision” to stop offering fantasy eSports contests on its site at the conclusion of the League of Legends World Championship.
