Scientific Games has expanded its long-running relationship with Sun International Group through a new deal to provide games and related systems for the South African casino operator’s latest venue.

The contract to provide slot and table games to the Sun Time Square Casino in Pretoria is the twelfth contract signed between the two parties. 

The 1m square foot casino resort will open its doors in April 2017 with more than 2,000 slot machines featuring popular Scientific Games titles such as Super 88 Fortunes, Dancing Drums and 5 Treasures, alongside 60 table games.

The supplier will also provide a range of solutions to aid retention and customer management such as its Elite Bonusing Suite, Power Progressives and iVIEW Display Manager tools.

"We appreciate Sun International's expansion of our technology partnership and their recognition of our experienced team and industry-leading innovative games, systems and table solutions to drive player engagement and operational efficiencies at their beautiful new casino resort venture in Pretoria," Scientific Games chief revenue officer Bob Parente said.

Shares in Scientific Games Corp. (Co. Data) (NASDAQ:SGMS) closed in New York Tuesday down 3.23 per cent at $12.00 per share.
