Sports betting solutions provider Betgenius has been selected by Betclic Everest Group to become the primary supplier of in-play trading services for the operator's Betclic and Expekt iGaming brands.

Under the three-year deal, Betgenius will provide more than 130,000 in-play events each year to both operators across all territories.

Betgenius’ managing director Jack Davison said the deal consolidates the company’s position as a provider of top quality in-play trading services.

“We are constantly growing and improving our offering to be able to service the most ambitious and demanding of customers,” said Davison.

Betclic’s product and innovation director Pascal Brouet said: “As part of our product strategy, we are always aiming to increase our offer to the benefit of our punters. Automation of sports in-play is one of the key areas to achieve this goal.”

Brouet said that the deal would double the number of live football events offered to its customers, while its live basketball coverage would be quadrupled.

“The partnership with Betgenius – thanks to its professional expertise – as well as all our latest and future innovations, will strengthen our leading position in the sports betting industry,” he said.
