Swedish casino specialist NetEnt continues to expand into the land-based sector with a deal to supply its content to Paddy Power for the UK retail market.

The new agreement extends the supplier’s existing online partnership with Paddy Power and will see its games available on 1,300 machines across the operator's licensed betting offices throughout the UK.

It is the second deal NetEnt has signed in the UK retail market, following a partnership with William Hill agreed in June last year.

NetEnt has also moved into Italy’s retail gaming sector through a deal with Gausemann Group’s Merkur Gaming Italia subsidiary, signed last month.

"I am very pleased that we are extending our partnership with Paddy Power to include distribution to gaming machines in their betting shops," said Enrico Bradamante, chief of European market operations and managing director of NetEnt Malta.

"I am confident that their players will enjoy our thrilling, award-winning games."

Shares in NetEnt AB (Co.Data) (STO:NET-B) are trading up 1.68 per cent at SEK66.55 per share on Friday morning.
