Italian gaming affiliate ASAP Italia has expanded its partnership with sports data provider Sportradar to launch its Sportito daily fantasy sports (DFS) offering in new territories.

Sportradar already supplies ASAP Italia with data and statistics for its Superscommese.it odds comparision site in Italy, and will expand this partnership to further develop the Sportito product.

The pair aim to launch the offering in new markets such as Italy in order to tap into the potential of fantasy sports, which remains a predominantly US phenomenon.

Launched in the UK in September, Sportito allows users to enter paid DFS contests to win daily prizes, with entry fees starting at £2. New users can also hone their skills and strategies by participating in free-to-enter competitions.

It offers contests covering more than forty football leagues, with plans to launch contests covering rugby, basketball, baseball and American football in the near future.

ASAP Italia's other products, such as tipping site Bettingrunner.com and user-populated news site Supernews, will also be enhanced through the expanded relationship with Sportradar.
