Hydra Industries-owned gaming supplier Inspired is set to roll out its virtual sports products in Nevada after the games were certified by the state's Gaming Control Board.

The virtual sports games secured regulatory approval following a successful technical field trial at William Hill-operated sportsbooks in Las Vegas earlier this year.

Inspired chief commercial officer for digital games, Steve Rogers, described the successful competition of the technical field trial as "fantastic news for the business," enabling it to roll out virtuals across the state.

"This announcement again confirms Inspired as the world leader in virtual sports innovation and deployment, and we look forward to delivering cutting-edge entertainment with an edge to William Hill's customers in Nevada," Rogers said.

"Expansion in the US is a strategic focus for Inspired, and we're excited to extend our virtual sports offering to specifically suit this market."

The virtual games will be shown alongside live sports in land-based casinos' sportsbook areas, with players able to place bets via William Hill's CBS platform, both over the counter and via self-service terminals.

The roll-out is scheduled to take place over the course of 2017.
