London-based sports betting platform provider FSB Technology has strengthened its presence in Africa through a deal to launch a new betting site for Kenya-facing operator BetYu.
BetYu is owned by Oxygen8 Gaming, a subsidiary of multi-channel technology solutions provider Oxygen8 Group.
The deal is FSB's second partnership with the company, having struck a deal to launch a similar sports betting product for its Tanzanian site Mkekabet in August 2016.
The new agreement sees FSB supply BetYu with its sports betting platform as well as powering an SMS betting service for the operator. The new offering will feature a pool betting product, as well as pre-match and in-play betting on a range of sports such as football, tennis, basketball, golf and American football.
Payment processing for the new site will be handled by Tola Mobile, with Oxygen8 providing marketing services.
FSB business development director Richard Thorp commented: "Given Oxygen8's mobile marketing expertise, Tola's billing platform and our next generation technology, I’m very confident that this will be a hugely successful partnership."
Oxygen8 head of gaming Mark Robertson said his company had been very impressed with FSB's ability to tailor its platform to their specific needs.
"It's an exciting time in Africa and we're looking forward to using and extending our reach in Africa to make the most of what is still a relatively untapped market," Robertson explained.
