Scientific Games has been awarded new contracts to provide online casino and eInstant games to Norway’s state-owned lottery operator Norsk Tipping.

The two new three-year contracts follow a competitive procurement process and will see Scientific Games’ digital content offered to Norwegian players through Scientific Games' secure remote gaming server.

“We look forward to offering more game entertainment from Scientific Games to Norwegians,” said Norsk Tipping’s chief executive Åsne Havnelid. “The instant games, technology, and services provided by Scientific Games have proven successful and helped us in our mission to grow responsibly.

“Since launching our iGaming program several years ago, Norsk Tipping remains committed to providing the very best portfolios of interactive casino and eInstant products to our players, while executing our responsible gaming principles."

Scientific Games’ vice president global commercial Bob Hays added: "The addition of interactive casino and eInstant content nearly completes a full product offering for Norsk Tipping from Scientific Games.

“Driven by our advanced RGS platform, our exceptional digital game portfolio will support the lottery's continued mission to grow responsibly while entertaining players in Norway with the best lottery and gaming experiences in the world."

Scientific Games already provides Norsk Tipping with lottery instant games as well as lottery gaming systems and retail technology. The pair are also collaborating on innovation in areas such as product portfolio management, prize structures and payouts, and retail product display.
