Stockholm-listed live casino specialist Evolution Gaming has entered the regulated Mexican iGaming market through a deal with licensed operator Codere.

Spanish-owned Codere is the largest operator of gaming halls in the Mexican market, and has selected Evolution as its exclusive live dealer games provider for the country. This follows the operator's re-launch of its website last month.

Through the deal Codere will offer players Evolution's full portfolio of live casino products for desktop, tablet and smartphone devices.

This includes standard and VIP tables for its roulette, blackjack, baccarat and Baccarat Squeeze products, as well as multiple poker variants and its new Dream Catcher Lucky Wheel game.

Codere's chief information officer Felipe Ludena Munoz said that Evolution's extensive experience in the European live dealer market made him confident that the deal would be a success.

He said that Codere would now be able to roll out a "best-in-class" product for Mexican customers, which would "maximise immediate and future online live casino opportunities in this market."

"We are of course proud and delighted to be working with Codere, a major global brand, for our first entry into this important new market," Evolution regional director Gionata la Torre added. "We very much look forward to introducing the richest, most exciting line-up of world-class live casino games to Codere players in Mexico."

Shares in Evolution Gaming Group AB (Co. Data) (STO:EVO) were trading at SEK329.00 per share in Stockholm earlier Tuesday.
