Competitive gaming platform operator FACEIT has agreed a partnership with Genius Sports to help safeguard integrity in eSports competitions ahead of the third season of the eSports Championship Series (ECS) later this month.
The partnership will also see the ECS become the first eSports competition to be fully integrated with Genius Sports' dedicated CS:GO analytics platform, alongside the supplier's Bet Monitoring System.
The analytics platform can transform data from CS:GO games into predictive outcomes and performance assessments of teams and players, helping to boost spectators and bettors' engagement.
This will be supported by educational workshops for ECS staff and competitions, conducted by the Genius Sports team. The supplier believes that this range of solutions can help address issues regarding corruption and skin betting.

The technology will first be used for the third edition of the ECS, which begins next week on Friday April 14th.
