French gambling regulator L'Autorité de regulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) has entered into a partnership with the Global Lottery Monitoring System (GLMS), the Swiss-based body helping lotteries combat sports-related corruption.
The deal is designed to facilitate information-sharing between the two organisations, helping identify irregular betting patterns across a range of sporting competitions.
Information such as the volume of stakes, probable results, and geographical distribution of bets will be shared.
