Mercury Poker has become the third operator to launch a skin on Microgaming's ring-fenced India-facing online poker network.

Mercury Poker has joined Poker Nation and on the MPN India, a network established in 2015 solely for Indian players that operates exclusively in Rupees and available to customers via a download client, a desktop server and mobile.

"We now have three operators residing on the Indian Poker Network and we are delighted with how the network is growing," Microgaming director of network games Jean-Luc Ferriere said.

"It's great to be working with an operator that puts the player at the heart of their offering and we believe the Indian Poker Network can support their mission to become a thrilling platform."

Founded by a group of poker players and registered in Kolkata, Mercury Poker aims to offer the most user-friendly experience for players in India, encouraging input from registered players as it looks to improve and innovate its offering.

It believes that working with a high-profile supplier in Microgaming will accelerate future growth.

"We are excited to get this opportunity to work with Microgaming, a leader in online gaming software, and be a part of their Indian Poker Network," Pranav Bathija, director of Mercury Poker parent company Mercury Gaming Solutions, commented.

"When joining forces, it is important that both companies share the same business values and vision as well as love for the game, and we believe we have this in the MPN team," he added.
