Sportradar has agreed a multi-faceted partnership with PvPRO, an esports platform powering CS:GO tournaments and leagues.

The partnership gives Sportradar the exclusive right to distribute audio-visual streams and data from all competitions hosted on the PvPRO platform.

The audio-visual streaming deal covers the global betting market, while data distribution will be handled exclusively by Sportradar for both betting and non-gaming sectors.

Sportradar's Integrity Services division will also deploy its Fraud Detection System to monitor betting patterns to identify any suspicious activity relating to tournaments hosted on the platform.

"Tournament organisers in the esports ecosystem are getting savvier about the opportunities and threats that they now face as interest and investment grows," Sportradar head of esports James Watson said.

"Dealing with [PvPRO CEO Stamos Venios] and his team has been a pleasure, as they really get what is at stake and we are really proud that they chose to trust us, our experience and our relationships to help them take the ESG Tour and their growing competition portfolio to the next level."

PvPRO's Electronic Sports Global Tour (ESG Tour) kicks off on the Greek island of Mykonos this Thursday (September 7th), sponsored by online gaming operator Betway.

"Launching our first stop of our first ESG Tour is a super exciting development for us and we are delighted to have secured the involvement of top CS:GO teams such as SK, Virtus.pro and mousesports," PvPRO chief executive Stamos Venios said.

"To really kick the Tour off in style and with a statement of professional intent, we also wanted to bring on board the number one specialists in esports data, betting streams and integrity," Venios explained. "Securing Sportradar's support and expertise was really important to the credibility and distribution of the Tour and as we start this journey, we could not be happier to have Sportradar by our side."
