Colorado Senators voted 27-8 in favour of legalised sports betting Friday, with the bill now submitted to Governor Jared Polis for approval.
The bill decriminalises sports betting effective May 1, 2020, subject to Colorado voters approving the introduction of a sports betting tax at the November 2019 general election, as per the state’s tax laws.
