Betting data and broadcast solutions provider Sports Information Services (SIS) has struck a multi-year deal to provide its greyhound racing service to UK bookmaker William Hill.

Under the terms of the agreement, William Hill becomes the first major UK operator to adopt SIS' new greyhound racing service as part of the SIS Watch & Bet format for online.

The bookmaker has added live greyhound pictures to its free-to-view ‘Betting TV’ streaming service, with the new offering complementing its existing retail betting shop service.

“We are very pleased to announce that William Hill have signed a multi-year deal for our new Greyhound Service, which is now available within the William Hill ‘Betting TV’ channel,” said SIS product director Paul Witten. “We are delighted that William Hill is the first major UK bookmaker to take our greyhound racing live pictures in a Watch & Bet format, which will further help drive visitors to Betting TV.”

William Hill group trading director Terry Pattinson added: “We have a long and proud tradition of supporting greyhound racing and could not be happier to provide a platform for fans to watch the action with live pictures.”

Shares in William Hill plc. (LSE:WMH) opened for trading in London Friday at 333.90 pence per share, just below their 52-week high of 345.00 pence per share set on January 11th, 2018.
