New Paddy Power Betfair chief executive officer Peter Jackson emphasized his company’s distance from the rest of the industry on the vexed issue of cutting the maximum stake for fixed odds betting machines (FOBTs).

Jackson reiterated his predecessor Breon Corcoran’s call for a cut in the maximum stakes on FOBTs to £10 or less, following this morning’s announcement of the company’s financial results.
