London-listed iGaming software provider GAN has agreed a multi-year extension to its contract to power Paddy Power Betfair's iGaming offering in New Jersey.

GAN will continue providing its internet gaming system and associated services for the operator's licensed site in the state, continuing a partnership that was first established in 2013.

"We're privileged to renew and extend our agreement with Paddy Power Betfair in the United States, one of the largest internet sports betting and gaming operators in the world today," said GAN CEO Dermot Smurfit.

"Our respective teams have performed well over an extended period in order to establish as the leading independent Internet casino in New Jersey. We look forward to continued shared success."

Betfair US CEO Kip Levin added: " offers a unique iGaming product experience for customers in New Jersey.

"The extension of this agreement is a reflection of GAN's flexible technology system, 'can-do' attitude and their overall commitment."

Shares in Paddy Power Betfair plc (LSE:PPB) were trading up 0.78 per cent at 83.75 pence per share in London Thursday morning, while shares in GAN plc (AIM:GAN) were trading at 28.00 pence per share.
