Stockholm-listed sports betting provider Kambi Group has agreed a deal to provide its sportsbook solution to Stanleybet Romania.

Stanleybet has been active in the Romanian market since 2004 and secured an iGaming licence in 2016. It operates a network of more than 300 shops alongside a growing online presence, with both channels set to utilise the Kambi platform.

The new long-term partnership will see the operator migrate its site onto the Kambi platform, which will be integrated into an Oryx Gaming player management system.

This integration is expected to complete ahead of the start of this summer's FIFA World Cup in June.

Stanleybet will subsequently launch Kambi's retail solution in 2019, with the start of the process scheduled for the second half of the year.

Shares in Kambi Group plc (STO:KAMBI) were trading down 1.11 per cent at SEK106.80 per share in Stockholm Friday morning.
