British racecourse group Arena Racing Company (ARC) has launched its new European Racing Channel in partnership with its majority-owned omni-channel games developer Vermantia.
The European Racing Channel includes a daily schedule of thoroughbred and greyhound races, broadcast live from the leading racecourses in the UK, Australia, South Africa and the United States. It features coverage of more 40,000 live races per year and is powered and distributed by Vermantia’s Content Hub in Athens, Greece.
“The European Racing Channel is a unique product in the international markets due to its unbeatable combination of top quality content from ARC, extended time-coverage, cutting-edge design and single data feed integration,” said Vermantia chief product officer Yiannis Gangas. “As such, we are very happy that the service has already been adopted by operators in Europe in line with a growing demand from the market for our quality and fast-paced live racing channels.”
ARC director of international markets Antony Hopkins added: “We are delighted to be able to provide betting operators with the most comprehensive live racing service based on Vermantia’s operational strengths and international reach.
“The launch of the European Racing Channel enables operators to receive a service with live racing from Tier 1 jurisdictions with a heritage of quality and integrity. This compelling proposition will work for the bookmaker and maximize the return to racing.”
ARC acquired a majority stake in Vermantia in March, with the company having previously served as the exclusive supplier of ARC’s portfolio of established greyhound content in a wide range of international markets.
