Sports betting supplier SBTech has agreed a deal to provide its sportsbook technology to LeoVegas’ UK-facing subsidiary Rocket X, including the BetUK.com brand.

SBTech will power online sportsbooks for a number of UK-facing brands owned by Rocket X, which was created by LeoVegas in March to consolidate its newly acquired UK assets from IPS.

The operator’s flagship brand BetUK.com - recently unveiled as the sponsor of English Championship club Swansea City - will be the first to launch the product, which includes the supplier’s YourBet fully automated accumulators with instant pricing.

"This latest partnership is the result of our ongoing commitment to increasing our market share in key regulated markets by providing a sportsbook that meets and exceeds the high expectations of players,” said SBTech chief commercial officer Andrew Cochrane.

“LeoVegas and the Rocket X team both share our vision of delivering a differentiated and compelling value proposition to players through product innovation, scalable technology and a fully bespoke trading and risk management approach.”

Rocket X CEO Mark Good added: “The strength of SBTech’s in-play coverage, its technological and regulatory expertise, proven track record of powering high-growth operators in the UK and wide range of responsible gambling controls were at the heart of our decision to sign this agreement.

“With the power of one of the industry’s top sportsbooks behind us, I’m confident of achieving significant share in the uniquely competitive UK market.”

Shares in LeoVegas AB (STO:LEO) were trading down 1.30 per cent at SEK76.00 per share in Stockholm Wednesday morning.
