London-listed iGaming technology provider GAN has signed a multi-year extension to its partnership with Parx Casino to bring sports betting to Pennsylvania's largest casino.
GAN will offer its SBTech-powered sports betting solution to the operator for on-property and online play, with the new offering slated for launch before the end of the year.
"Following the execution of this extension and amendment, GAN now offers clients a platform equipped with multiple options for integrated sports betting to be launched seamlessly alongside GAN's market-leading Internet casino product,” said GAN chief commercial officer Jeff Berman. “We welcome the opportunity to deliver sports betting in the retail channel, as well as online, through GAN's unique platform containing patented technology."
Parx owns and operates the leading casino in Pennsylvania and has offered GAN’s simulated-gaming social casino to its clients since March 2015.
Earlier this month the operator confirmed with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) that it will launch real-money online gaming products in the state in partnership with GAN.
"GAN has ably demonstrated it abilities with both its overall platform and its integration capability for existing major clients,” said John Dixon, chief technology officer for Parx Casino operator Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment.
“By leveraging GAN's platform, Parx Casino will have the opportunity to launch retail and online regulated sports betting together with online gaming in Pennsylvania later this year, subject to the regulatory approval of the PGCB."
Shares in GAN plc (AIM:GAN) were trading up 1.05 per cent at 72.25 pence per share in London Monday morning.
