The opening of the US sports betting market will be the talk of the town at G2E Las Vegas next week as the industry’s leading suppliers showcase their solutions and services.

Scientific Games

The New York-listed supplier will be showcasing its range of casino, lottery, digital and sports betting products at this year’s event, with the company describing G2E as the perfect venue to showcase its OpenBet sports betting technology.

Scientific Games offers a one-stop sports portfolio, which includes sports betting, retail terminals, portal, mobile betting, sportsbook operations, and managed trading services.

"Our team at Scientific Games is evolving entertainment to help our customers compete in a dynamic and rapidly-changing world," said Scientific Games president and CEO Barry Cottle. "At G2E, we'll premiere new products that reflect the tech megatrends of our time and showcase the world's leading sports betting platforms.

“These products are part of our experiential gaming ecosystem that combines great games that players love, robust data and innovations to provide wagering across all gaming environments."

In addition, Scientific Games will introduce new titles from its James Bond series of games, including Die Another Day, Goldeneye, and Live And Let Die. Others games to be introduced in the land-based sector include the new MONOPOLY Top Hat Roulette game, MUNCHKINLAND featuring THE WIZARD OF OZ, and WILLY WONKA – LOOMPALAND.

The company will also feature new table games such as I Luv Suits Poker, Vegas Blackjack Fever, and a new version of HIC HOLD'EM POKER.

In addition, the supplier’s SG Digital division will highlight its Open Gaming System (OGS), which offers more than 2,000 online game titles from nine in-house game studios and multiple third-party providers.

Gaming Intelligence/GIQ Magazine

Gaming Intelligence will once again be covering all the action at G2E with a show stand for the eighth consecutive year. Our latest sports betting-focused issue of GIQ magazine – Everything You Need to Know About Sports Betting in the US, will be available to all attendees at our stand #4108, as well as at the entrance to the show as an official show publication.

The Gaming Intelligence editorial team will be on hand to meet with new and existing partners, and will also be unveiling new Android and Apple apps for GIQ Magazine and our premium live news service.

International Game Technology (IGT)

IGT will be highlighting its B2B sports betting solutions at G2E with the largest booth at the trade show this year.

The supplier’s PlayDigital division will showcase its PlayShot sports betting solution, already deployed in multiple states and offering land-based retail, on-premise and state-wide digital delivery options.

IGT will introduce its PlayShot QuickBet sports betting kiosk, a user-friendly and modern, walk-up sports betting option, and also debut the CrystalBetting Terminal, a slot machine-inspired hardware that applies IGT's pedigree in land-based casinos to give players an immersive and comfortable way of enjoying the full range of in-play and pre-match wagering.

Other innovations from IGT include two new Wheel of Fortune 4D games – Wheel of Fortune 4D Featuring Vanna White and Wheel of Fortune 4D More Money, alongside Wheel of Fortune Triple Red Hot 7s for the MegaTower cabinet, as well as a new version of the popular video poker title Game King. There will also be new game concepts based on some of IGT's most successful slot titles such as the Da Vinci Diamonds Keno game.


Gaming supplier PlayAGS is focusing on the player experience with its 7,000 square foot stand at this year’s event, showcasing more than 80 slot and table games, as well as its AGS Interactive solutions.

AGS will highlight a host of engaging game content for its Orion Portrait, Orion Slant, and ICON platforms, designed to delight players and drive revenue for Class II and Class III markets.

Taking center stage will be AGS’s newest cabinet innovation, the Orion Upright, a new addition to the company’s Orion family with a library of exclusive new titles and AGS greatest hits.

For its Orion Slant platform, already boasting an installed base of more than 630 games, AGS will introduce new Xtreme Jackpots titles, along with the new Fai Cai Shu and Kingdom Ca$h suite of games. For its Orion Portrait platform, nine new game title will be on display, including the Diamond Streak series of games, Crystal Magic, and six new Xtreme Jackpots games.

AGS continues to expand its table solutions business with new proprietary table games and table solutions such as Vega$3, a new twist on traditional three-card poker. Lucky 21 Bacc combines the excitement of baccarat and blackjack, while 100X Roulette takes roulette to the next level with a chance for a 100x payoff.

AGS Interactive will also showcase its social white-label casino mobile solution that adds new levels of excitement to casino-branded social games, as well as its new real-money gaming solution, which delivers a diverse variety of high-performing game content to online operators through the supplier’s game aggregation platform.

Novomatic Group's interactive division Greentube will present its latest slot releases at G2E, including an online version of the popular land-based title Tales of Darkness.

Featuring Lunar Eclipse, Full Moon and Break of Dawn themes, the new game will be showcased alongside the supplier’s online version of From Dusk Till Dawn.

Greentube’s display will also feature new slot titles such as Almighty Reels - Realm of Poseidon, Jaguar Moon, Stein Haus and Asian Diamonds among others.

“The Americas is a future market of growth for Greentube and we are actively preparing our market entry for content delivery into Colombia,” said Greentube chief financial officer and chief gaming officer Michael Bauer. “Additionally, we are closely monitoring and evaluating other opportunities in Latin America and of course, the US. From a content portfolio perspective, we have been developing games specifically for these markets for some time now and are confident to offer games that the players will love.”


Stockholm-listed sports betting provide Kambi will be making its debut at this year’s G2E event, as it looks to benefit from the repeal of PASPA.

Kambi’s booth will feature interactive wagering displays to highlight the supplier’s products, including a land-based sportsbook experience and a variety of tablets designed to immerse visitors in its sports betting offering.

“G2E is the largest gathering of global, commercial and tribal gaming professionals in North America and it’s a great opportunity for Kambi to engage with both existing customers and prospects in this new market,” said Kambi CEO Kristian Nylén. “Through our interactive booth design, attendees will be able to demo our land-based and mobile wagering products as well as learn about our range of managed services.”

Kambi's in-house legal and regulatory expertise will also be on show, with staff on hand to speak with regulators and policy makers regarding sports betting legislation in their respective states.


iGaming platform provider BetConstruct is another European sports betting provider looking to show off its range of products, including a sportsbook solution tailored specifically for the US market.

The supplier explained that its sportsbook solution will be the focus of attention due to the recent changes in the US legal landscape and the intense demand by land-based casinos to secure sportsbook technology.

The supplier will also display its live casino solution, featuring real-life croupiers, as well as its fantasy sports software featuring enhanced tournaments mode and redesigned interface.

“The key for BetConstruct at G2E is to show the immense capabilities of our products and our team and to show our commitment to the US market,” said BetConstruct regional director in the US Jonathan Aiwazian. “We are looking to make big moves in the US market for the rest of 2018 and into 2019, and the plan is to use G2E to ignite some of these plans. With all the leaders in the industry in one place, we will look to exchange ideas and strengthen our path forward.”


Aristocrat Technologies, a subsidiary of Australian gaming supplier Aristocrat Leisure, will debut a new slot game based on HBO’s hit TV show Westworld.

In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the Westworld Slot Game is based on the drama series which explores a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged.

Another game that will be unveiled at the show features global music icon Madonna. Each Madonna Slot Game will be themed with its own unique game play, inspired by and including Madonna’s popular hit songs from her most memorable eras.

“We have been diligently working for months to create a slot game that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the Madonna brand, while also bringing an entertaining experience to players fueled by her landmark and groundbreaking music, coupled with video and exciting game play. We are excited to premiere the new Madonna Slot Game at G2E,” said Aristocrat chief product officer Rich Schneider.

Aristocrat’s portfolio includes several other Warner Bros. Consumer Products licensed titles such as the Batman Classic TV Series Slot Game, The Big Bang Theory Slot Game, Dumb & Dumber Slot Game, and A Christmas Story Slot Game.
