Stockholm-listed gaming operator MRG and joint venture partner Gamingzone Entertainment have unveiled their new global eSports venture

MRG and Gamingzone said that the GLHF GG abbreviations were globally known among gamers and stood for Good Luck, Have Fun, Good Game.

The eSports community site will focus on entertainment, streaming, gamification and eSports betting, and is expected to go live during the first quarter 2019.

“We aim to create a community where esports followers across the world want to spend time,” said Niklas Grawé, chief executive of GLHF.GG. “With this great and very relevant name together with our idea on how to mix streaming, betting and gamification, we have the prerequisites to attract attention from this rapidly growing audience.”

MRG chief executive Per Norman added: “GLHF.GG is an essential part in our strategy to expand in the value chain. This esports venture provides us with both significant knowledge and further growth opportunities.”

Shares in Mr Green & Co AB (STO:MRG) were trading marginally higher in Stockholm Wednesday morning at SEK69.08 per share.
