Stockholm-listed fantasy sports solutions provider Scout Gaming Group has entered the Mexican market through an agreement with Logrand Entertainment.

Logrand currently operates 14 casinos in Mexico and will launch a fantasy sports offering during the first half of 2019 through its online brand Strendus.

“The alliance that we made with Scout Gaming Group for establishing our Fantasy Sports offering strengthens our commitment to provide our clients a quality service and high-level diverse online entertainment platform,” said Lenin Castillo, chief operating officer online at Logrand Entertainment Group.

“We are sure that will see an expanding number of users and that with this partnership will strengthen our leading position in the industry.”

Shares in Scout Gaming Group AB (STO:SCOUT) surged 13.68 per cent to SEK34.90 per share in Stockholm Wednesday morning.
