Toronto-listed operator The Stars Group has launched three of its leading brands in Sweden’s re-regulated iGaming market.

The operator has rolled out online and mobile poker, sports betting and casino products after receiving license approval from Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen in December.

Swedish players gain access to poker games and tournaments at PokerStars.se and FullTilt.se, and an online sportsbook at BetStars.se, which initially offers 370 markets across 25 different sports.

Online casino players are offered 490 games across both PokerStarsCasino.se and FullTilt.se/casino, with all products available for play on desktop, web and mobile devices.

"We're proud to offer our full range of PokerStars and BetStars products under Sweden's new regulatory framework," said Guy Templer, chief operating officer of Stars Interactive. "Clear regulation is a big step forward for Sweden's players and its licensed online betting and gaming industry, and provides us with a great opportunity to offer our products and services to Swedish customers."

Shares in The Stars Group Inc (TSX:TSGI) closed 0.38 per cent lower at CAD$23.66 per share in Toronto Tuesday.
