Global network solutions provider Continent 8 Technologies has extended its long-running partnership with Playtech.

The new multi-year agreement was signed at London’s ICE yesterday and continues a 20-year partnership between the two companies, delivering a platform for further expansion into emerging markets across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The partnership will see an increasing number of mutual customers and operators benefitting from an integrated solution designed specifically for the iGaming sector.

“The partnership with Continent 8 Technologies has been central to our distribution strategy in emerging and newly regulating markets across Europe and the Americas,” said Playtech CEO Mor Weizer.

“Playtech is renowned for its robust, reliable and industry leading technology and in our strategic partnerships we require that same commitment to the highest standards in the industry, we look forward to continuing our partnership with Continent 8 to achieve this."

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading down marginally by 0.32 per cent at 406.58 pence per share in London Wednesday morning.
