Oslo-listed Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has launched a new in-house developed sportsbook for its Guts brand.

Guts.com is one of the operator’s two best performing brands and has been repositioned as part of GiG’s B2C strategy, with the new site offering players an improved interface, fast navigation and a mobile focused platform.

GiG launched its new sportsbook platform last June on its Rizk.com brand, and has since rolled out the solution externally to B2B partners including MRG subsidiary 11.lv, Metal Casino, and as an omni-channel sportsbook solution to Hard Rock International.

GiG said that it continues to develop its sportsbook with new features, including innovative trading tools and data driven odds, together with a full retail and online solution.

“Break-even in this vertical is expected in the first half of 2020,” the company added. “This will be achieved by strengthening the sportsbook by growing the in-house brand Guts, by the developments in the new sportsbook and a focused marketing approach.”

Shares in Gaming Innovation Group Inc (OSL:GIG) were trading up 3.89 per cent at NOK11.22 per share in Oslo Friday morning.
